Viva La Vandal - Cherri Wood

Cherri Wood is a young illustrator based in Minnesota, USA. Her stunning and slightly mystic style is influenced by indie films, comic art, graphic novels and photography. Her art work is of a very alternating nature with a strong taste for some of the most basic events, objects and experiences which she transforms into an almost distant and dream like event. Her use of light, dark, shadows and the almost indistinguishable shapes that would usually be seen from the corner of one’s eye merged with basic reality really makes Cherri Wood one of the best and most creative artists around today.
